Ladies and gentlemen please may I have the benefit of your advice and wisdom. I have been looking in vain for a W CDI for a reasonable price for a while now but they seem to be very rare second hand, then someone suggested I might be better off looking for an ML W instead, what is the main differences between the two?

I've a sport ml and test drove both the and The half leather is actually artico - plastic leather, easier to keep clean but not as long lasting so do not be shocked if the cars you look at have a small split in the drivers seat.
But what I will say is the ml has been the only car we have kept for any length of time and when we considered replacing it we looked at the same model ml not the new shape as we are not quite sure of its looks at the moment and ours apart from a faulty ecu has been extremely reliable. And handles itself pretty well light off roadning and in the snow.
Oh as a bonus the tyres last forever as well. I am sure you will not be disappointed regardless of which version you get and you can always get it remapped for more power. Buy the and look at something like the brabus tuning box.
I would personally get a proper ecu remap instead of a tuning box if that is an option.
